Police have unveiled fresh video footage potentially depicting a teenager who vanished from her residence in Texas on Christmas Eve, raising concerns about her safety.

Camila Mendoza Olmos, aged 19, was last observed leaving her home in San Antonio before 7 a.m. the previous Wednesday, clad in a sky blue and black hoodie, light blue pajama bottoms, and white shoes, as detailed by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

Despite heading out for her customary early morning stroll, she failed to return home, leaving her parents anxiously waiting for any sign of her whereabouts.

Authorities have now made public dashcam footage that may feature the young woman walking along a path adjacent to a main road. Sheriff Javier Salazar remarked that the individual in the recording was attired in clothing that closely matched what Camila was wearing.

During a press briefing, Sheriff Salazar emphasized the need to explore all possibilities, ranging from voluntary disappearance to potential self-harm or abduction.

The footage was disseminated on the County Sheriff’s Facebook page, accompanied by a message recounting Camila’s departure from her residence and her attire that morning.

Camila’s father, Alfonso Mendoza, made a heartfelt plea for her safe return, expressing his anguish and fervent prayers for her well-being since her disappearance.

Described as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing around 110 pounds, Camila is believed to have her car keys and perhaps her driver’s license with her.

Despite extensive searches conducted by family and friends in the vicinity on Christmas Day yielding no results, Camila’s aunt, Nancy Olmos, urged the public through an emotional appeal on social media to assist in locating her niece.

Notably, Camila, a recent initiate into the faith, was portrayed by her family as deeply religious, with a profound love for God, intensifying the urgency to find her.

An official statement from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office highlighted the circumstances of Camila’s departure, noting her mother’s concern when she failed to return from her routine morning walk.

Individuals with relevant information on Camila’s whereabouts were urged to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office or the Missing Persons Unit for assistance.
