Google has addressed two critical security vulnerabilities in its Chrome web browser. Users are advised to promptly check their settings and restart the browser to ensure they are protected. The two bugs, known as CVE-2026-3909 and CVE-2026-3910, were given a zero-day rating, indicating active exploitation by cybercriminals. Google has released a fix for these issues, but users must update their Chrome browser to the latest version to be safeguarded. To verify if the browser is up to date, users can navigate to the Chrome menu and select “About Google Chrome.” If the version displayed is 146.0.7680.75/76 for Windows/Mac or 146.0.7680.75 for Linux, the user is secure. Any earlier version requires immediate installation of the update to prevent potential online attacks. Google has rolled out the update to the Stable channel, which will be distributed gradually over the upcoming days and weeks.
