His dad, unaware of Scott’s identity in the disguise, was heard commenting, “That one’s awful,” while Suzi defended Scott’s singing ability, suggesting the masked man could be West End star and singer Michael Ball.
Despite some doubts raised during the show, Suzi remained convinced that it was Michael Ball behind the mask. However, the revelation that Figgy Pudding was actually Scott himself left both Suzi and Pete in fits of laughter, with Suzi exclaiming, “Bloody hell, Scott!” Pete, looking slightly embarrassed, raised his hand in support of his son, expressing his disbelief.
Scott’s appearance on The Masked Singer marked a successful year for the 51-year-old DJ, who took over the Radio 2 breakfast show from Zoe Ball in January.
