“Man Hospitalized After Assault at Salford Shopping Centre”

A man was taken to the hospital with head injuries after an assault in a city center where a police cordon has been set up around a shopping precinct.

The man, who remains unidentified, was reportedly attacked early this morning at Salford Shopping Centre on Pendleton Way, with Greater Manchester Police responding to the scene just after 5 am. The area outside a Betfred shop, including lawns and pavements, is currently cordoned off, with police officers and crime scene investigators present.

Following the assault this morning, Greater Manchester Police confirmed that three men have been arrested. The victim, who suffered head injuries, was promptly taken to the hospital.

“We received reports of an assault at Salford Precinct around 5:10 am today,” stated the police force. “In a quick response, three men were arrested on suspicion of assault and are currently in custody. The injured male is receiving treatment for head injuries at the hospital.”
