Tesco is encouraging its Clubcard members to review their receipts for a chance to win a new car. As part of the 30 years celebration of Clubcard, the supermarket is offering a Vauxhall Frontera Electric to one lucky winner. To participate, shoppers must scan a QR code found on select receipts or in-store screens, or visit tesco.com/vauxhallcompetition.
Participants will need to answer a few questions, with the winner selected randomly from Tesco Clubcard members who provide correct entries. The competition deadline is August 31. The prize car is a Frontera Electric GS 44kWh 113PS with optional features and metallic paint, valued at £25,995 OTR after the Electric Car Grant.
Shama Wilson, Tesco Group Loyalty and Membership Director, expressed excitement about the partnership with Vauxhall for this competition, highlighting the opportunity for a Clubcard member to win an electric vehicle. Vauxhall Marketing Director, Phil Douglass, shared the anticipation for a shopper to win the new Frontera Electric through the collaboration with Tesco.
There are over 23 million Tesco Clubcard members who earn points through various purchases. Clubcard points are accrued for every pound spent on groceries, fuel, Tesco Mobile, Tesco credit card transactions, and with a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card. Accumulated points can be redeemed for vouchers to spend in Tesco, and their value can be doubled when used with Tesco Reward Partners like RAC, Pizza Express, Disney+, and easyJet.
