Kelly Osbourne has shared details about how her family will navigate their first Christmas without her father, Ozzy, who passed away at the age of 76 in July. Ozzy, survived by his wife Sharon Osbourne, 73, and their children Aimee, 42, Kelly, 41, and Jack, 40, will be dearly missed during the upcoming holiday season.
This Christmas marks a significant moment for the Osbourne family as they cope with the absence of the Black Sabbath legend. Kelly expressed her desire to make it through the festivities without shedding tears, focusing on spending quality time with her family at their mother Sharon’s residence in Buckinghamshire.
Jack shared that his father had a disdain for Christmas, citing his distaste for purchasing gifts for individuals he did not care for. Despite Ozzy’s sentiments, Kelly is showering her mother with thoughtful presents, including chocolates, gardening tools, and a new puppy to console her after the loss of her beloved Siberian Husky, Elvis, in October.
Kelly disclosed that her brother Louis, Ozzy’s eldest son from a previous marriage, will take charge of cooking, while she will assist as a sous-chef. The family plans to gather at the Buckinghamshire estate where Ozzy is laid to rest for their Christmas celebrations.
Embracing the British holiday traditions, Kelly is organizing a ‘proper English Christmas,’ complete with Christmas crackers and matching pajamas for all guests. Jack, who recently appeared on “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” will be spending Christmas in the United States with his expectant wife Aree Gearhart and their daughter Maple, along with his three daughters from a previous marriage to Lisa Stelly. Sharon will join them in the States two days after Christmas.
Kelly is making an effort to immerse herself in the festive spirit. Recently, she shared a heartwarming moment on Instagram where Santa Claus visited her son Sidney, courtesy of a generous gift from a brand. Additionally, Kelly visited Aston Villa, her father’s favorite football team, with her brother Louis and son, commemorating a proud moment at the stadium where Ozzy had performed his final concert.
As Christmas approaches, Kelly has been actively involved in charitable endeavors to stay occupied and find fulfillment. She has been collaborating with various charities, including Centrepoint, the King’s Trust, and organizations in Birmingham such as the Children’s Hospital, Acorn, and the Parkinson’s charity, as part of her charitable efforts leading up to the holiday season.
