According to a witness speaking to CornwallLive, they were enjoying Christmas dinner with their family when they spotted the smoke. The witness mentioned that the police arrived first, followed by a fire unit and an ambulance, and thankfully, no apparent injuries were reported.
Firefighters can be observed in the striking photos actively working to put out the fire. Fortunately, it appears that no one was harmed as a result of the incident that began around 3 pm. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
A statement from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service indicated that a fire crew from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station responded to a car fire on Wesley Street, Camborne. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus utilized a hose reel to extinguish the fire by 1545hrs.
