“Prince Harry and Meghan to Skip Royal Christmas Again”

For the seventh consecutive year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be participating in the Royal Family’s Christmas festivities. Instead of joining King Charles, Prince William, Princess Kate, and their children at Sandringham, the Sussexes will be spending the holiday season far away in Montecito.

Previously, Prince Harry used to celebrate with his family during the royal gatherings. However, since 2018, shortly after tying the knot with Meghan, he has chosen to spend Christmas in sunny California.

Despite Harry’s expressed desire to mend relations with his father and the royal family, it seems unlikely that he will receive an invitation to Sandringham this year. Tensions with several members of the Firm, particularly Prince William, along with concerns about safety in the UK, have played a role in this estrangement.

Reports suggest that Meghan had encouraged Harry to reconcile with his family leading up to Christmas in 2023, following a Family Guy episode that satirized the couple’s decision to step back from royal duties.

In the animated show, characters resembling the Sussexes are depicted by a pool, with the storyline humorously mirroring their real-life situation. The satire highlighted the challenges the couple faced after departing from their royal roles.

The episode reportedly had a significant impact on Harry and Meghan, prompting them to seek reconciliation with the royal family. Sources indicated that Meghan was particularly affected by the portrayal and was keen on finding a resolution.

Recent developments have seen Meghan return to Netflix with a holiday-themed episode of her lifestyle show, featuring creative crafts and a glimpse into her life in California with Harry.

During the episode, Harry makes a notable appearance, spending an extended period with Meghan as they prepare a Christmas-themed salad alongside Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio.

Although Meghan has left her royal life behind, she draws on her past experiences in the UK to create personalized Christmas crackers with a guest, reminiscing about British traditions and sharing insights into festive customs.
