Former X Factor and The Voice UK contestant Lydia Lucy has recently gotten married to her long-time partner Tommy Watson in a stunning ceremony held at London’s renowned Savoy Hotel.
The 32-year-old singer, who rose to fame on reality TV competitions more than ten years ago, shared glimpses of her special day on Instagram, showcasing the couple’s happiness as they posed together amidst a beautiful floral arrangement with the caption “The new Mr and Mrs.”
The wedding received warm wishes from Lydia’s celebrity acquaintances, with TOWIE star Chloe Brockett calling her “Stunning Lydia,” I’m A Celebrity victor Scarlett Moffatt expressing admiration with “So beautiful. Huge congratulations xxx,” and Love Island’s Chloe Crowhurst adding, “Congratulations beautiful.”
Following the ceremony, Lydia, Tommy, and their daughter Dottie-May indulged in a mini vacation at The Savoy, taking advantage of the luxurious spa and dining options available at the hotel.
Dottie-May, born in 2021, holds a special place in the couple’s hearts, as Lydia previously shared her experience of a miscarriage the year before their daughter’s birth.
Having made her mark in 2013 by auditioning for The X Factor and later appearing on The Voice UK in 2016, Lydia has built a successful career as a vocalist for private events, showcasing her talent at prestigious weddings and celebrity gatherings. She often mentions that her stage name is a tribute to her late sister, Lucy, who passed away from spina bifida before Lydia was born.
During her time on The Voice, Lydia emotionally dedicated a performance to her late sister, expressing her deep connection and the impact Lucy has had on her life.
Today, Lydia continues to honor her sister’s memory and legacy through her music and performances, carrying her spirit with her in every step of her journey.
