A now-deleted post from a celebrity news source on X stated: “A legend has departed, leaving behind an indelible mark on the hearts of the French populace.”

Upon learning of the rumors, Bardot promptly responded, refuting the claims with a post declaring: “I am in good health, and I refute the false reports circulating about my [death]. I have no intention of departing this world.”

Two months subsequent to her statement, Bardot passed away. The announcement was made by her charitable foundation, highlighting her decision to forsake her illustrious acting career in favor of championing animal welfare through her foundation.
