Sarah, a dedicated animal welfare advocate, died at the age of 61 unexpectedly, as revealed by Emily and her sister Daisy. Remembered for her compassion, Sarah was the owner of Tilley Farm in Somerset, a 90-acre property.

In a statement jointly released by Emily and Daisy, Emily, 37, expressed their sorrow over the loss of their remarkable mother, Sarah. The sudden passing has deeply affected them, highlighting the significant impact Sarah had on many lives and the legacy she leaves behind. Daisy, 34, also an actress, will be featured in the upcoming period drama “The Gray House.”

The emotional tribute further conveyed a wish for more time to benefit from Sarah’s wisdom and brilliance, emphasizing the profound grief felt at the loss of her unique spirit and the relationships she cherished with friends, colleagues, and collaborators.

Sarah, originally from Epsom, Surrey, was married to actor Anthony Head and had two daughters, Daisy and Emily. She dedicated herself to animal welfare causes, serving as an ambassador for Battersea Dogs And Cats Home and a patron of Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary.

Battersea’s CEO, Peter Laurie, expressed condolences on Sarah’s passing, acknowledging her longstanding support and contributions to the organization. Anthony Head, known for his roles in various TV shows and films, including “Ted Lasso” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” has yet to publicly comment on the loss.

Pauline Leeson, founder of Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary, also paid tribute to Sarah, praising her advocacy for animals and her compassionate nature. The heartfelt message highlighted the significant impact Sarah had on animal welfare and the positive changes she brought about.
