Jake Paul has expressed his thoughts following the announcement of his upcoming match with lightweight champion Gervonta Davis. The anticipated face-off is scheduled for November 15 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The news initially surfaced on the official Netflix Turkiye X account before being swiftly removed, with confirmation later provided by Ring Magazine reporter Mike Coppinger.

In a social media post on Twitter, it was revealed that Jake Paul will engage in an exhibition bout against Gervonta Davis on November 15 at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, broadcast on Netflix. Talks for a potential match between Paul and Anthony Joshua came to a halt due to network complications. While Paul’s recent fight occurred at 200 pounds, Davis reigns as a champion at 135 pounds.

The revelation stirred excitement among boxing enthusiasts, prompting Jake Paul to share his take on the upcoming showdown. Paul expressed determination to face Davis, referring to himself as an FPV drone poised to outmaneuver his opponent. Despite Davis being a highly regarded pound-for-pound boxer, Paul remains confident in his abilities and relishes the challenge ahead.

In his previous bout in June against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Jake Paul secured a notable victory on points, showcasing his boxing skills. Following his triumph, Paul aims to maintain an active presence in the ring, with discussions of a potential clash with Anthony Joshua circulating. However, plans for a future encounter between Paul and Joshua did not materialize.

Davis, on the other hand, was anticipated to have a rematch with Lamont Roach after a controversial draw earlier this year. However, the focus has now shifted towards his upcoming match with Jake Paul. Despite negotiations falling through in the past, Paul and Davis are set to engage in an exhibition bout, with Paul willing to adjust his weight to meet Davis’ super lightweight category.

Expressing his confidence in facing Davis, Jake Paul highlighted perceived weaknesses in Davis’ fighting style, emphasizing his strategy to exploit those vulnerabilities during their impending matchup. The bout is expected to comprise 10 rounds of three minutes each, with no limitations on the rules of engagement.
