A collision near a popular service station prompted the closure of a busy motorway by police authorities.
National Highways North-West reported that the M6 motorway in Knutsford, between J18 (Middlewich) and J19 (Northwich), was inaccessible following a crash during the early hours of Tuesday, December 30.
Cheshire Police were present at the site, with all lanes being blocked by National Highways after the incident near the service slip road.
The slip road has been reopened according to National Highways, allowing normal traffic flow on the motorway.

Traffic officers are managing the traffic flow, and a recovery team is on the way to the location.
