Danica Moore has been without contact from her 14-year-old daughter, Peyton Flett, since the evening of June 14. Recounting the last interaction, Moore mentioned that Flett departed with her grandmother to stay over at her sisters’ place. The most recent sighting of Flett was in Prince Albert, spotted around June 16 to 17 near John Diefenbaker School and the intersection of Marquis Road and Central Avenue. She was attired in a grey and red hoodie, blue Christmas pajama pants, and carried a black fanny pack. Described as Indigenous, Flett stands approximately five-foot-four, weighs around 115 pounds, and possesses black/reddish hair and brown eyes.

Expressing her longing for Flett’s return, Moore emphasized that the family eagerly awaits her safe homecoming. In a heartfelt plea, Moore assured Flett that she is welcome back without fear, always cherished, and never in trouble. Authorities urge individuals with any information on Flett’s whereabouts to come forward, emphasizing the significance of even seemingly minor details to help trace her movements and facilitate her safe return.

The major crimes unit is leading the active investigation into Flett’s disappearance due to her age, the time elapsed, and the circumstances surrounding the case. Major crimes Inspector Lisa Simonson reiterated the importance of direct communication from potential informants, encouraging them not to assume that the police are already in possession of the information.

Reflecting on her relentless search efforts, Moore shared her ongoing quest to locate her daughter, reaching out on social media for assistance and organizing search parties. Describing Flett as a gentle individual who enjoys drawing and spending time with her siblings, Moore appealed for her daughter’s safe return to reunite the family. Expressing her desire for Flett to be home by her upcoming 15th birthday on August 19, Moore envisioned a celebration filled with love, laughter, and togetherness, highlighting the void felt in Flett’s absence and the anguish the family endures amidst her disappearance.
