Samsung recently introduced the Galaxy S25 FE (Fan Edition) as a more affordable option, but it falls short compared to Motorola’s new budget-friendly release, the moto g06, priced at just £69.99, which is nearly one-tenth of the FE’s cost.

Despite its low price, the moto g06 offers impressive features, including a vivid 6.88-inch display, a 50MP rear camera, a splash-proof design, and a soft luxe texture finish. Notably, it includes Gorilla Glass 3 for screen protection and expandable storage via a microSD card, a rare feature in most modern smartphones.

Additional highlights of the moto g06 include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Bass Boost technology, along with a MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme chipset. Motorola promises smart AI enhancements like Circle to Search with Google and various image editing tools such as Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, and Photo Unblur.

In addition to the moto g06, Motorola is set to release the moto g06 power, featuring a larger 7000mAh battery that can easily last for over a day. The company claims users could enjoy up to two and a half days of battery life on a single charge. Priced at £89.99, the moto g06 power will also be available for purchase in the UK next month.

Miles Norman, UK&I Country General Manager at Motorola, expressed pride in offering remarkable features at an accessible price point with the moto g06 and g06 power. He highlighted the g06 power’s substantial battery capacity designed to meet the demands of today’s always-connected lifestyles, emphasizing Motorola’s commitment to providing powerful and reliable technology to a broader audience globally.
