After a long wait, Virgin Media users are in for a treat this week. Starting April 1, Sky Atlantic will be available to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers, and the best part is there won’t be any additional charges for this new offering.
This means households will now have access to popular shows like Heated Rivalry, Under Salt Marsh, The Last Of Us, and Amadeus. Customers simply need to tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform from Wednesday. Furthermore, Sky Atlantic content will also be accessible on-demand and through Virgin TV Go.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, expressed, “Our commitment to our customers is clear – to provide seamless entertainment at great value – and the inclusion of Sky Atlantic on Virgin TV reflects that. The channel features captivating drama and compelling stories from both the UK and the US, delivering some of the most talked-about moments. Now, over a million Virgin TV customers can enjoy Sky Atlantic without any extra cost or steps required.”
In addition to the Sky Atlantic launch, Virgin TV customers have more reason to rejoice. The provider has announced a significant content upgrade that is available at no extra cost. The TV Ultra HD channel has been unlocked for all TV customers, extending beyond premium plans until April 12.
What’s in store on the channel? Viewers can look forward to a nightly lineup of ad-free entertainment, including family-friendly movies, iconic rock performances, and a diverse range of documentaries.
Featured movies and series include Playmobil: The Movie featuring Daniel Radcliffe, The Invisible Man starring Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss, season one of Cobra Kai, and The Last Turtles, a documentary series showcasing the efforts of the Dominica Sea Turtle Conservation Organisation.
Music enthusiasts can also catch Rolling Stones: Olé Olé Olé – A Trip Across Latin America, documenting the band’s journey through South America and Mexico, leading up to their historic show in Cuba.
