Bargain expert Jordon Cox shared a clever method to uncover a “hidden code” that discloses when a discount at Tesco is about to expire.
Jordon, known as the Coupon King on ITV’s This Morning, regularly imparts money-saving advice on social media platforms. In a recent video, he unveiled that items on Clubcard Price promotion feature a six-digit number indicating the offer’s expiration date.
By decoding the numbers in reverse and grouping them in twos, shoppers can determine the deal’s expiry date. The last two digits represent the day, the middle two signify the month, and the first two indicate the year.
Tesco is advising customers to act promptly as £16.5 million worth of Clubcard vouchers are set to expire by November 30. Clubcard points are earned for every £1 spent on groceries, fuel at Tesco petrol stations, Tesco Mobile purchases, Tesco credit card transactions, and Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card usage.
To obtain a Clubcard voucher worth £1.50, a minimum of 150 points is required. Currently, more than 24 million UK households possess a Tesco Clubcard.
Tesco’s Group Membership and Loyalty Director, Shama Wilson, emphasized the importance of utilizing Clubcard vouchers before they expire, highlighting the significant value that can be redeemed for various rewards.
