In the photo, Wayne sported red and white striped pajamas and a fluffy Santa hat, sending out Christmas wishes from himself and the staff at Basildon Hospital’s Bursted ward. He expressed gratitude for the medical team’s care and support.

In a subsequent post, Wayne announced his triumph over pneumonia after enduring a challenging period. He expressed his appreciation for the hospital staff and the medical intervention that saved his life.

Wayne’s son, Sean, was caring for him at home when his condition worsened, necessitating urgent hospitalization. Wayne shared that his immune system had been compromised since he quit alcohol earlier in the year, leading to ongoing health issues.
