The grieving family of a young woman who passed away in a tragic incident express that her spirit will always endure. Eleisha Skinner, a former beauty pageant winner and aspiring social worker, lost her life unexpectedly in a parking-related accident during hazardous icy conditions. Despite a valiant fight in the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries on January 8.

Her devastated parents, Nigel and Clare Skinner, fondly remember Eleisha as a compassionate and selfless individual who touched the lives of many. Known for her academic excellence and community involvement, Eleisha excelled in her studies and held various leadership roles at her school in Faversham.

Her family reminisces about her exceptional qualities, highlighting her dedication to helping others and her infectious smile. Eleisha’s passion for swimming and synchronized swimming, as well as her accomplishments in horse riding, showcased her diverse talents. In 2023, she met her boyfriend Max and shared dreams of pursuing a career as a social worker.

A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated in Eleisha’s honor to support the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, a cause close to her heart. The Skinner family expresses gratitude for the outpouring of support and donations received, emphasizing the importance of honoring Eleisha’s legacy of kindness and generosity.

Despite the profound loss, the family finds solace in the community’s love and support during this challenging period. Eleisha’s memory will forever be cherished, and her family plans to celebrate her life at a memorial service in Faversham. The Faversham Carnival Club also pays tribute to Eleisha, recognizing her as a remarkable individual who will be dearly missed.
