Months after being kicked out of the Celebrity Big Brother House, a former contestant is now facing potential eviction from their rented residence, as per recent reports.
Allegedly, Mickey Rourke is on the verge of eviction due to being nearly £44,000 behind on rent for his Los Angeles home. The 73-year-old renowned for his roles in movies like Sin City, Man on Fire, and Iron Man 2 has leased a three-bedroom Spanish-style bungalow just south of West Hollywood since April 2025.
Reports indicate that the actor, who received accolades for his performance in the 2008 film The Wrestler, has failed to meet rent obligations, resulting in an eviction notice being affixed to the property’s exterior. The notice demands the outstanding rent be settled within three days or the property be vacated.
The notice was purportedly posted before the Christmas holiday on December 18 and remains unaddressed, potentially leading to legal action initiated by the landlord, identified as Eric Goldie.
This predicament follows Mickey’s removal from the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother show earlier in the year due to his use of inappropriate language and unacceptable behavior. The actor faced backlash for engaging in offensive conversations, including making upsetting and homophobic remarks to fellow contestants.
After exiting the Big Brother house prematurely, Mickey encountered financial setbacks, with his reported appearance fee significantly reduced. Subsequently, he expressed regret for his actions and behavior during the show.
Since departing the UK, Mickey has maintained a low profile, with recent sightings showing him in a different physical appearance. In August, he was pictured with grey hair at his Beverly Hills residence, which was described as neglected with an unkempt garden and dilapidated front entrance.
