Fourth-ranked Felix Auger-Aliassime will lead the Canadian team in the upcoming second round of Davis Cup qualifiers set to take place in Quebec City next month. Tennis Canada announced that Auger-Aliassime will be accompanied by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, positioned 12th in the tournament, is scheduled to face off against sixth-ranked France in a best-of-five match at the Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
Canada secured a narrow 3-2 victory over Brazil in the previous round of qualifiers held in February. On the other hand, France earned their spot in this round by defeating Slovakia with a score of 3-1.
