A father successfully rescued his daughter who was kidnapped at knifepoint by utilizing parental control to track her phone.

The incident occurred on Christmas Day in Porter, Texas, when the 15-year-old girl went out for a walk with her dog around 4:50 pm. Concerned when she didn’t return as expected, her father used the phone tracker, which pinpointed her location to a secluded area in Harris County, approximately two miles away from their home in Porter.

Upon reaching the location, the father discovered his daughter inside a maroon-colored pickup truck with a partially nude 23-year-old male. He acted swiftly to help his daughter escape from the vehicle, and law enforcement was contacted immediately.

The perpetrator, identified as 23-year-old Giovanni Rosales Espinoza, was later apprehended by the police. He has been charged with aggravated kidnapping and indecency with a child for threatening the girl with a knife and abducting her from the street. Rosales Espinoza is currently held in custody at Montgomery County Jail without bond.

Sheriff Wesley Doolittle commended the deputies and detectives for their swift action in capturing the dangerous predator. The family, who chose to remain anonymous, expressed gratitude for their daughter’s safe return and emphasized that they had no prior connection to the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing, with the sheriff’s office stating that no further details can be disclosed at this time.
