“Gordon Ramsay’s Sharp Wedding Speech Backlash”

Gordon Ramsay reportedly made a cutting remark in just six words towards Adam Ramsay Peaty’s family, an incident that was captured for his upcoming Netflix show. During his daughter’s wedding speech, the renowned chef took the opportunity to deliver the pointed comment.

The lavish wedding of Holly Peaty Ramsay and Adam Peaty took place during the Christmas holiday at Bath Abbey, with a guest list featuring A-list personalities. However, due to a disagreement over wedding arrangements, Adam’s parents opted not to attend the ceremony.

This family rift is now set to escalate following Gordon’s sharp remarks, which were recorded by his Netflix reality TV show crew during the reception. One of his comments seemed to subtly criticize Adam’s mother, Caroline, by implying that his wife, Tana, would excel as a mother to both of them. Another remark suggested that Adam was fortunate to have Holly as a wife.

Gordon then turned to Holly and remarked, “Shame you don’t have the same.” Caroline reportedly felt offended and upset upon learning about the comments. Sources indicated that the absence of certain family members at the event, including Adam’s parents, would be evident in the filming.

According to insiders, Adam’s family expressed dismay over Gordon’s decision to bring up their private issues in his speech. They found his remarks disrespectful and hurtful, especially as they believed he portrayed Caroline in a negative light. Reportedly, Adam’s family reached out to Netflix requesting their exclusion from the chef’s documentary series.

Allegedly, the Olympic swimmer’s family contacted the streaming platform to contest being filmed at the engagement party without consent. However, it is understood that signs indicating filming was taking place were visible throughout the event. Sources close to the Ramsays clarified that attendance implied consent to appear in the docu-series.

The Peaty family was not formally interviewed for the show, so no additional consent was necessary, and they are not expected to feature in the final edits. The production is said to be proceeding without delays, according to insiders.

Caroline reportedly communicated to Netflix that the family did not authorize filming for Gordon’s documentary at the engagement party. She emphasized their desire not to be part of the series, especially given the strained family relationships.

Caroline previously expressed her sorrow over her estrangement from her son and shared poignant messages on social media about her pain. The Mirror has reached out to Gordon’s representative for a response.
