Sky has made an unexpected announcement by revealing the comeback of its popular channel, Sky One. The channel, which was discontinued in 2021, is set to make a return to screens later this month. Viewers can anticipate a lineup of engaging comedy and entertainment programs, including new shows like “The Dyers’ Caravan Park” and “Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.”

Fans can look forward to the return of favorites such as “Rob & Romesh Vs.,” “The Paper,” and “Ted” on channel 106. Additionally, Sky One will be the new home for “Saturday Night Live UK,” set to debut later this year.

Replacing Sky Showcase and Sky Max, the relaunched channel aims to consolidate a diverse range of entertainment offerings in one place, simplifying the viewing experience for audiences. Carli Kerr, Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, expressed the company’s commitment to providing easy access to beloved shows for Sky TV customers.

Scheduled to launch on February 24, Sky One is positioned as a unique destination channel characterized by its bold and energetic content. The channel will feature a mix of new Sky Originals like “The Dyers’ Caravan Park,” along with returning favorites such as “Rob & Romesh Vs.,” and will also be the exclusive broadcaster of “Saturday Night Live UK.”

The news of Sky One’s return coincides with the announcement of a major event by Sky later this month. The company has teased exciting developments for Sky TV, hinting at significant revelations to come. Speculation is rife among viewers, especially since Sky typically organizes in-person launch events for major announcements.
