Sky TV customers are in for a change as the company announces a revamp of its Cinema channel lineup starting April 30. The existing Sky Cinema Animation channel, previously on channel 312, has now merged with Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This consolidation aims to simplify the viewing experience by bringing all family-friendly films together in one place.
Despite the channel merger, viewers will not lose access to any content. Favorites like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, Smurfs, How to Train Your Dragon, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Wicked will still be available on the unified channel. Sky assures customers that all content from the former Sky Cinema Animation will remain accessible through Sky Cinema Family.
For fans of Sky Cinema Animation, there is good news. The channel will make a temporary return during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This means that children will still have the opportunity to enjoy their favorite films during these periods.
