The family realized Isobel was missing when she briefly disappeared while playing indoors and later found her in the garden pond after she ventured outside on her own. The pond was a temporary addition to the garden following the family’s recent move and was enclosed by a fence.
Recounting the heartbreaking turn of events, Abigail explained how Isobel and her sister were playing with new toys inside the house, briefly losing sight of her before she made her way to the garden and fell into the pond.
