Three individuals lost their lives in separate road accidents in Quebec overnight. The first incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. near Chemin Mistral in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, where a vehicle veered off Route 132 East. The driver, a 35-year-old man, was the sole occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was temporarily closed but reopened by 4:45 a.m.
A few hours later, at approximately 3:20 a.m., a single-vehicle accident took place on Route 138 near Franquelin. The driver lost control of the vehicle, resulting in four occupants being injured. Sadly, one person died, while the other three are in critical condition.
The third incident occurred at 6 a.m. on Route 138 in Saint-Tite-des-Caps. A car traveling eastbound veered out of its lane and rolled several times, leading to serious injuries for a man and a woman in their 30s. The woman, aged 37, passed away at the hospital, while the man remains in critical condition.
Authorities are still investigating the causes of these accidents, and precautions are being taken in the affected areas to ensure safety for all road users.
