A tragic incident unfolded in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, India, where a six-year-old girl passed away after allegedly being gang-raped and thrown from a rooftop. The young victim was swiftly taken to a local hospital after the horrifying ordeal, but sadly, she succumbed to her injuries upon arrival. Following the incident, two suspects identified as Raju and Veeru were apprehended by police after a brief confrontation in the Sikandrabad industrial area. Both individuals sustained gunshot wounds during the arrest and were subsequently hospitalized for treatment, with authorities recovering firearms and ammunition at the scene.
The victim’s father filed a formal complaint, prompting law enforcement to deploy three specialized teams to track down the alleged perpetrators. Superintendent of Police Dr. Tejveer Singh disclosed that the suspects engaged in gunfire when confronted by officers. During initial questioning, the accused, who resided in the same building as the victim, reportedly confessed to their involvement in the heinous act, which occurred while the girl was playing on the terrace.
The family asserts that the girl was sexually assaulted before being thrown from the rooftop, leading to the initiation of a post-mortem examination to substantiate the rape allegations. Police have indicated that additional charges will be levied in the case pending the outcome of medical examinations. The incident has sparked outrage in the region, shedding light on persistent concerns regarding crimes targeting women and children in India.
Separately, an 18-year-old individual from Pennsylvania, Jarrod Noll, was arrested in West Virginia following the shooting of both his parents, resulting in the death of his mother the day after Christmas. Noll was apprehended by Pennsylvania law enforcement after an extensive search, with authorities confirming he was armed at the time of his capture. The tragic event transpired on December 26th at around 1:58 pm local time, with Noll’s younger siblings present in the vicinity but fortunately unharmed. The siblings, under the care of a relative, have not been named.
Noll is currently detained in West Virginia awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania to face charges of homicide and attempted homicide.
