The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season at home, marking the 14th time in 15 years that they will do so. The NBA unveiled the complete 2026-27 schedule, revealing that the Raptors will face off against Chicago at Scotiabank Arena on Oct. 21 to start the season. Following this, their first away game will be against Washington two days later.
Among the notable matchups at home are consecutive games against the current champions, the New York Knicks, on Nov. 15 and 17, as well as a showdown with the San Antonio Spurs led by Victor Wembanyama on Dec. 10. Additionally, Canadian standout Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder will visit on March 10.
January will be the busiest month for the Raptors, with 17 games scheduled, including a six-game home stretch. Throughout the season, they will participate in 15 back-to-back games, seven of which won’t require any travel.
The NBA has disclosed 80 out of Toronto’s 82 games, with the remaining two to be arranged following the conclusion of the in-season NBA Cup tournament group stage. Despite this, the Raptors will not be featured in the prestigious Christmas Day lineup once again. Their last appearance on Dec. 25 dates back to 2019, the year they were the defending NBA champions.
